Victoria es la capital de Seychelles. Al principio, fue establecida como sede del Gobierno Colonial de Reino Unido. Las atracciones de la ciudad incluyen una Torre del Reloj, la sede de la Corte, el Jardín Botánico de Victoria, el Museo Nacional de Historia de Victoria, el Museo de Historia Natural de Victoria, y el Mercado Sir Selwyn Selwyn-Clarke. Seychelles consists of 155 islands only 3 of which have any “sizeable” population. They are Mahe, Praslin and La Digue islands.Victoria is the capital of the Republic of Seychelles. This largest city of the Seychelles was named after Queen Victoria during British colonial rule. Victoria is the largest settlement on Mahe, and also the capital of the Republic of Seychelles. However, even though it’s the national capital, the feel of Victoria is a smaller, quieter town rather than a bustling city.Mahe is also the best place to get a feel for the culture of the Seychelles. Around 75,000 people live on Mahe. There are three official languages in Seychelles: Creole (a lilting, French-based patois), English and French. Many Seychellois also speak fluent Italian or German.
